Cancellation Policy

A cancellation 5 days or more before scheduled arrival date guest will be charged a
$50 cancellation fee. This amount was charged at the time of booking
and is non-refundable.

If a reservation is cancelled or altered less than 5 days before the scheduled arrival date, the reservation is non-refundable.

Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of guests actual arrival or departure date.

If you need to make changes to your reservation:

You can reach us at sierramountainlodge@sti.net or just hit reply to the proper confirmation that we sent you and request a cancellation.

This way we make sure the right reservation is cancelled or altered. If your request is completed a new email confirmation of the altered or cancelled reservation
will be sent to you for your records.

Guest will be requred to complete an online check-in before arrival. 

The Check-In Process is simple and easy to do on a cell phone. 
1) Please upload a photo ID that matches the name & credit card on the reservation. 
2) Vehicle Information – Make, Color & Plate – If you will have a rental and don’t know the details just write “rental”.
3) Please read and e-sign that you have read and agree to our Rules & Policies.  If there is something we have not made clear, please ask!

Basic Lodge Rules:

Check-In 4:00PM – 9PM – Check-Out: 10:00AM.
Guests are not permitted to check in after 10 pm without prior approval. (this is to insure peace & quiet for all of our guests)
Late check out past 10am, that is not pre-arranged will be charged at $40 an hour.
Adults and children are counted as guests and can not exceed the maximum occupancy permitted in your rental. 
We do not recommend our two story suites to children under the age of 5 due to the danger of stairs and a second story open loft. Children must be supervised at all times.

Suites come complete with all necessary linens, towels & bedding, which are professionally cleaned. Suites include a private couch, Free WIFI, smart TV for your streaming channels + DVD player, refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, coffee maker w/ coffee, 1 pot & 1 pan for BBQ side burner, small dining table, dishes, glasses, silverware, wine opener, can opener, ice chest for picnics, hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner. 

We are unable to provide for pets including emotional support animals. ADA Service animals are always welcome. Any pet(s) found in or about the Rental Property will be grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. 

Sierra Suite has a full kitchen, all other suites have a kitchenette (no stove). Suites have either a private or community BBQ area with propane BBQ grill & side burner.
Guests are not permitted to bring their own cooking appliances due to fire hazards.

All suites include private heating & AC cooling. 

All suites are NON-SMOKING. This includes Vaping & marijuana. An outdoor smoking area is provided for our guests who smoke. Please be fire safe & considerate of other guests!

ANY guest who smokes indoors or allows pets indoors will be charged a minimum $100.00 cleaning fee. Candles are not permitted due to insurance and fire hazard.  

The Rental Property offers access to but not limited to: outdoor propane barbeques, seasonal firepits, seasonal creek, stairs, second story decks, uneven terrain, gravel walkways, poison oak, bug, mosquitos, snakes and domestic & wild animals that roam free in our mountain community.  Guest fully understands and acknowledges that these things have inherent risks, dangers and hazards.  Participation in or contact with such activities/things and/or use of equipment may result in injury or illness including, but not limited to bodily injury, disease, strains, fractures, partial and/or total paralysis, death or other ailments that could cause serious disability.  Guest agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Owner and any and all agents, employees, or contractors for any injury or damage caused by these activities, whether caused by the negligence of the Owners, the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, the forces of nature or other causes foreseeable or unforeseeable.  Guest hereby assumes all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the Owners or by any other person.  Guest hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Owner and any and all agents, employees, or contractors from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my use of Rental Property facilities, equipment, or activities.  Guest further assumes full responsibility for the actions of any and all persons whom he may allow to enter the property during the rental period and indemnifies Owner from any and all claims arising from such other persons..

Our location occasionally experiences potentially dangerous situations arising from acts of god or nature,  including but non limited to: wildfires, floods, strong winds, heavy rain, hail & heavy snow packs. No refunds will be given due to smoky skies, power blackouts, heavy rain, local flooding, strong winds, snow, construction at adjacent properties, unless we are under a mandatory evacuations of the area by county officials. 

Items found and not claimed within 30 days will be disposed of at the discretion of Owner. Guest is responsible for lost or damaged items at the cost of two (1.5) times the published standard replacement price for such damaged or lost linens or towels.

In the event Owner is unable to make Rental Property available for any reason other than described above or a reasonable substitute as determined by Owner, Guest agrees that Owner’s sole liability as a result of this unavailability is to provide a full refund of all monies paid under this Agreement and Guest expressly acknowledges that in no event shall Owner be held liable for any special or consequential damages which result from this unavailability.  Guest also agrees to indemnify Owner from and against liability for injury to Guest or any other person occupying Rental Property resulting from any cause whatsoever including, but not limited to, injury sustained as a result of use of outdoor propane barbeques, seasonal firepits, seasonal creek, stairs, second story decks, uneven terrain, gravel walkways, poison oak, bug, mosquitos, snakes and domestic & wild animals except only such a personal injury caused by the gross negligence or intentional acts of the Owner.

Owner may terminate this Agreement upon the breach of any of the terms hereof by Guest.  Guest shall not be entitled to the return of any rental monies paid under the terms of this Agreement and shall vacate the Property immediately. Agreement shall be enforced under the laws of the state within which the Rental Property is located, including any applicable rental acts of that state, and represents the entire Agreement.  Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.  In the event of a dispute, legal action may only be instituted in the county within which the Rental Property is located.  If any part of this Agreement shall be deemed unenforceable by law, that part shall be omitted from this Agreement without affecting the remaining Agreement.

Policies….

A non refundable deposit of $50.00 is charged at the time of the booking.  Any remaining balance is charged to the card on file 5 days prior to the arrival date and is non refundable. This Agreement may be cancelled by the sole option of the Owner, if the automatic payment fails for any reason and guest does not provide payment in full within 24 hours. The credit card on file will be have a preauthorized hold at check-in in case of any damages or extra charges.  The credit card of the last successful payment will be used.  If there are no successful credit card payments, it is the responsibility of the Guest to update the card on file before check-in.  At the end of the rental period, the rental property is returned undamaged beyond normal wear and tear, the  hold will be released. In the event of any damages, Owner will provide Guest with a accounting of expenses incurred and charges made.   Extra charges may include, but are not limited to: excess cleaning fee, trash removal fee, missing item replacement costs, damaged item replacement or repair costs, repair costs of buildings or grounds, or other service call fees.  Owner is under no obligation to use the least expensive means of restoration. 

Guest agrees to abide by all rules and regulations set by the state, county, or contained herein or posted on the premises related to the Rental Property.  Guests agree not to use the premises for any commercial activities or purpose that violates any criminal law or governmental regulation.  Guest’s breach of any duty contained in this paragraph shall be considered material and shall result in the termination of guest occupancy with no refund of any kind. In no event shall the Rental Property be occupied by more persons than the capacity of the property as stated on the web site or the confirmation letter, without prior approval by Owner.  In no event shall Guests assign or sublet the Rental Property in whole or in part.  Violations of these rules are grounds for expedited eviction with no refund of any kind.  Guests hereby acknowledge and grant specific permission to Owner to enter premises at any time for emergencies or for inspection purposes should Owner reasonably believe that Guests are causing or have caused any damage to Rental Property. 

Guest has read and agreed:
I understand the rules, policies and rental conditions upon which I am agreeing to and use of the property.  I acknowledge and accept that the sole responsibility for safety lies with the participant. I am over the age of 18  I hereby assume all legal responsibility for bodily injury to me or to any person on the property as a result of my visit and use,
