Our policies are vital to the management of Sierra Mountain Lodge. If anything is unclear, please ask
Online Check-In
All guests are required to complete an online check-in before arrival. The process is simple and can be done on a cell phone:
Upload a photo ID that matches the name and credit card on the reservation.
Provide vehicle information (make, color, plate). If using a rental and details are unknown, write “rental.”
Read and e-sign to confirm you have read and agree to our Rules & Policies.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-In: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Check-Out: 10:00 AM
Guests may not check in after 10:00 PM without prior approval to ensure peace and quiet for all.
Late check-out past 10:00 AM without prior arrangement: $40/hour.
Occupancy & Supervision
Adults and children count toward the maximum occupancy of each suite.
Children under 5 are not permitted in our two story suites due to stairs and open lofts. Children under 2 are not permitted.
Suite Amenities
All suites include:
King or Queen beds with professionally cleaned linens and towels
Private couch and small dining table
Smart TV & DVD with movie collection
Free Wi-Fi
Kitchenette (except Sierra Suite with full kitchen): fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, sink, dishes, cutlery, 1 pot & 1 pan for BBQ side burner
Hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner
Private heating & AC
Outdoor & Shared Spaces:
Private or community propane BBQ with side burner
Outdoor seating areas with dining tables
Smoking, Pets & Fire Safety
Suites are non-smoking, including vaping and marijuana.
Outdoor smoking areas are provided; please be fire-safe and considerate of other guests.
No pets allowed, including emotional support animals. ADA service animals are always welcome. Pets on property are grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid.
Fire Safety: Open fire pits, warming fires, and wood BBQs are strictly prohibited due to fire danger. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.
Smoking indoors or allowing pets indoors: $100 minimum cleaning fee
Candles are prohibited due to fire and insurance risk
Safety & Risks
The property contains outdoor propane grills, seasonal firepits, creek, stairs, decks, uneven terrain, gravel paths, poison oak, bugs, mosquitos, snakes, and wildlife. Guests understand the inherent risks and assume responsibility.
Participation in property activities may result in injury or illness, including but not limited to bodily injury, fractures, paralysis, or death. Guests release and indemnify the Lodge and staff from liability except in cases of gross negligence or intentional acts.
Our location may experience wildfires, floods, heavy rain, wind, snow, or other natural events. No refunds are issued for smoky skies, power outages, or inclement weather unless a mandatory evacuation is issued. Severe weather predictions may allow full refund cancellations at the Lodge’s discretion.
Payment, Deposits & Extra Charges
Non-refundable deposit: $25 at booking
Remaining balance charged 5 days prior to arrival
Pre-authorized hold at check-in for damages or extra charges
Extra charges may include:
Excess cleaning or trash removal
Replacement/repair of damaged or missing items
Repair of buildings or grounds
Guests must update credit card info if automatic payments fail. Refunds or holds are handled after inspection and return of the property in good condition.
Cancellation Policy
If it is necessary to cancel a reservation:
5 or more days before scheduled check-in: $25 deposit is retained (charged at booking, non-refundable)
Less than 5 days before scheduled check-in: Reservation is non-refundable
Guest Responsibilities & Legal
Guests must comply with all posted rules and local/state regulations.
No commercial use of the property is allowed.
Violations or over-occupancy may result in eviction without refund.
Owners may enter premises for emergencies or damage inspection.
This agreement is governed by state law. Legal disputes are resolved in the county of the Lodge location.

One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 5 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
